As you may have noticed, I decided to bring a bowl today as I knew I was going to have to get through these condensed soups. I’m sticking with the fork though and just lifting the bowl and slurping when necessary.
Honestly I had fairly high hopes going into this can of soup, it’s a chicken noodle soup for crying out loud! However I believe the brilliant minds at Campbell’s took that literally and added only chicken and noodles. I was expecting maybe some carrots and celery.

I took a little sniff at the can when I opened it, didn’t really smell like much at all.
I popped it in the microwave for 3 and a half minutes and ended up with this large bowl of soup.
This soup literally had almost 0 flavor to it, the noodles and the chicken barely taste like anything, the soup itself is solid but holy moly we are at over 2000 calories. Are you trying to give this old man a heart attack @Campbell’s?!?!
The noodles were soft but not mushy, the chicken came in small chunks and was fine.

I don’t have much more to say about this soup frankly, it’s a really simple noodles and chicken in broth. It’s a filling can, at least my 25% larger one was.
I know this is supposed to be my review, but here’s a comment I found by Darcy C:
“Got an 8-pack of soup. First serving my wife forgot the water which was interesting. Second go it hit the spot because I can’t keep anything down due to illness. Only thing is there’s no flavor but chicken and mushy noodles. I know noodles are hard to keep from getting soggy but these are definitely mush. There’s also less chicken and noodles than previous cans.”
Overall I think this can is boring and extremely salty and not much protein anyway. So I can’t really give it that great of a rating. I’m giving it a 58/100.
